Pay your bills when you can't work

Insurance for when you are unable to work for a long period of time due to severe illness or accident—disability income insurance will replace up to 55% of your income while you are disabled. Not having disability income protection would be like not protecting “The Goose That Lays The Golden Egg.”

Most policies will have a 90 day elimination period (or wait) before benefits begin being paid to make the premium more affordable. Ask yourself this question, “If I were disabled and couldn’t work for more than a 90 day period, how long would employers, family and friends continue to pay MY bills and living expenses?”

Having disability insurance in one of the strongest elements of financial planning. For more information and a specific proposal based on your age, health and occupational situation, contact Tom through the contact form on the right, or here
